On October 12, it was announced the TD Greystone Infrastructure Fund (TDGIF, or the Fund), is acquiring all remaining shares in Rabbalshede Kraft (the Company). This marks the beginning of the next phase of growth for Rabbalshede Kraft.

Since the Company was founded in 2005, the Company's mission has been to actively participate in the transition to a more effective and sustainable energy system, and the support of all shareholders throughout the years has been critical to getting the Company to this point.

TDGIF is an open-ended infrastructure fund that invests in long-term, essential infrastructure assets globally. The Fund is managed by TD Asset Management, a leading Canadian institutional asset manager. Rabbalshede Kraft is an established and long-term player in renewable energy in Sweden with the ability to develop, operate, own, and manage land-based wind power.

With TDGIF becoming the majority owner in 2021, the strategic focus of Rabbalshede Kraft shifted from being a pure wind power company, to becoming a versatile renewable energy company that also develops solar energy, green hydrogen production, and battery storage. This has been possible because TDGIF can continually support Rabbalshede Kraft with long-term capital to advance its strategy to own and operate all facilities without the need to sell after commissioning.

TDGIF made its first investment in the Company in 2017, acquiring 21%, and has remained a supportive shareholder, viewing the company and its people as an important part of its global portfolio.

"Having a strong single shareholder with long-term patient capital at this stage of our development will give us continuity and the capacity to develop our people and expertise over the long term to create sustainable and efficient energy solutions", says Peter Wesslau, CEO at Rabbalshede Kraft.

"We are excited about the opportunity to fully support the continued growth of Rabbalshede Kraft from a Swedish wind operator to a more diversified energy solution business across the Nordic region and beyond. The Company represents an important part of our portfolio providing long-term stable cash flow, growth and diversification for our clients", says Jeff Mouland, Managing Director, and Head of Global Infrastructure Investments at TD Asset Management.

Both the TD Greystone Infrastructure Fund and Rabbalshede Kraft want to extend a special thank you to all the previous shareholders who have invested in Rabbalshede Kraft and believed in the company.
