Together we shape the energy of tomorrow

As one of Sweden’s leading players in renewable energy, we have the experience and knowledge to push sustainable development forward. But we can’t do it alone. If we want to succeed in slowing global warming and counteract the irreversible effects of climate change, we need to join forces and work together. That is why we work closely with landowners, municipalities, and companies to create long-term and responsible energy solutions that benefit the climate. By investing in cutting-edge technologies that improve the way we use energy, we want to pave the way and inspire others to develop renewable energy sources together with us. Our joint ventures contribute to the emergence of new energy sources that can supply an everchanging world with green energy. When and where the need is greatest.

Everything started in Rabbalshede

Rabbalshede Kraft was founded in 2005 by entrepreneurs Ingemar Ung and Bertil Jönsson. Since then, we have invested more than SEK 4 billion in developing Swedish wind power. Today, we are one of the country’s leading players in the field – with nearly 20 parks that in 2021 had a total production capacity of 720 GWh. In 2020, we adopted a new strategic orientation and vision which set us on a new trajectory. We are now expanding our offer from solely wind power and taking steps to become a versatile renewables company. That is why we are investing heavily in developing our offer in solar energy and green hydrogen – and in the future, even more energy sources may be added.

Rabbalshede Kraft ownership

Since October 2023, Rabbalshede Kraft is 100% owned by TD Greystone Infrastructure Fund (TDGIF). TDGIF is an open-ended infrastructure fund that invests in long-term, essential infrastructure assets globally. The Fund is managed by TD Asset Management, a leading Canadian institutional asset manager. With TDGIF as single shareholder, we have the conditions to develop long-term investments that, together with partners and local stakeholders, shape tomorrow's sustainable and renewable energy. Our continued strategy is to own assets long-term and not sell them after commissioning.

Wind power

Since 2005, Rabbalshede Kraft has paved the way for the spread of onshore wind power in Sweden. Today, we are one of the country’s leading players in the field – with nearly 20 parks and a total production capacity of 1,1 TWh per year. The majority of our parks are strategically located at good wind locations in southern Sweden, where the need for electricity is greatest.
