From wind farm to energy park!
At Rabbalshede Kraft, we believe in a diversified system where we utilize all renewable energy sources to create a reliable whole that can deliver green energy year-round. Since we continue to own our parks after construction and commissioning, we can develop our existing wind farms by adding more technologies such as solar power, battery storage, and green hydrogen—and in the future, additional energy sources may be added.
Advantages of energy parks
Wind and solar power are perfect complements to each other! When it’s sunny, it usually doesn’t blow very much, and when it’s windy, the sun is often absent. By combining different types of power generation, we can achieve a more even electricity production and thus deliver renewable energy every day, all year round – regardless of the weather. When we also add battery storage or production of green hydrogen, we can get even greater energy benefits from the park.
With energy parks, we can ensure a more stable supply to the power grid when more energy sources work together. In addition, it is more efficient and sustainable when we allow different resources to share the same infrastructure, such as access to the power grid and roads, but also forest and land.
