
Rabbalshede Kraft was formed in 2005 by the entrepreneurs Ingemar Ung and Bertil Jönsson, both of whom descend from Rabbalshede. Since the company was formed, its ambitions have grown in pace with the increasing interest in wind power and renewable energy. Today, Rabbalshede Kraft has 24 employees who work on constructing onshore wind farms throughout Sweden.
Rabbalshede Kraft currently has four farms in operation.The Hud, Kil and Brattön wind farms that are located in the vicinity of Rabbalshede in Bohus County. TheTöftedalsfjället wind farm, is in the Municipality of Dals-Ed.
The project portfolio comprises about 450 wind turbines with the goal of taking some 250 turbines into operation through 2015. Our vision is to be the leading player in the Swedish market in the transition to climate-friendly and long-term sustainable energy production.
Through new share issues, Rabbalshede Kraft has secured a significant amount of capital in recent years and is well prepared to implement its plans for continued development. To guarantee the long-term capital requirements that the planned build-out requires, the Company is preparing an application for listing on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm exchange.
Thomas Linnard is President of the Company. The Board of Directors, which comprises five persons, holds the technical and financial expertise to live up to shareholders’ expectations.
In May 2010, Rabbalshede Kraft became the first wind-power company in Sweden to secure both ISO 9001 quality certification and ISO 14001 environmental certification. The company implements an industrial approach and industrial processes in all areas, from pre-planning of wind farms to operation and maintenance of farms and wind turbines.
