Rabbalshede Kraft AB (publ) plans and establishes onshore wind farms in Sweden to operate proprietarily or for sale to other companies. Our vision is to be a leading player in the long-term sustainable production of energy in Sweden.
Since Rabbalshede Kraft was founded in May 2005, extensive work has been carried out on the project planning and development of a broad portfolio comprising wind farms of various sizes. The company has participated in the commissioning of 48 wind turbines, including 26 wind turbines operated by the Company. The Company’s primary income source is the operation of proprietary wind farms, while an extensive project portfolio comprises the basis for growth. The project portfolio currently comprises placements for about 400 wind turbines, distributed among some 40 wind farms throughout Sweden.
Rabbalshede Kraft’s overriding objective is to create value growth for the Company’s shareholders – proprietarily, in partnership with other companies and through the divestment of entire farms and individual wind turbines – by contributing to the commissioning of 250 turbines by 2015.
The Company’s core competence is planning, procurement, distribution, operation and maintenance of wind farms. Thorough preparatory work is critical to the profitability of a wind-power project. In May 2010, Rabbalshede Kraft secured both ISO 9001 quality certification and ISO 14001 environmental certification. The company implements an industrial approach and industrial processes in all areas, from pre-planning of wind farms to operation and maintenance of farms and wind turbines.
Thomas Linnard is President of the Company. The Board of Directors, which comprises five persons, holds the technical and financial expertise to live up to shareholders’ expectations.
To guarantee the long-term capital requirements that the planned build-out requires, the Company is preparing an application for listing on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm exchange.
